Minh martin

Minh was born in Saigon, Vietnam and spent his childhood in south Asia. After studying geophysics at Yale, he apprenticed with the Great Bri'oni in Santa Barbara, California as a glassblower. He currently lives in Charlottesville with his wife and four children. His work can be found in museums, galleries, and private collections cross-country, and he created the glass insects in our forest.

I believe the things we surround ourselves with should engage our affection and shape our identity. Art/craft is the antidote to the throwaway culture. By making precious and durable objects, we enrich ourselves and ensuing generations.
​Minh was born in Saigon, Vietnam and spent his childhood in South Asia. After studying Geophysics at Yale University, he apprenticed with the Great Bri’oni in Santa Barbara, California. He currently lives and works in Charlottesville, is the father of four children and and is the keyboard player for We Are Star Children. His work can be found in museums, galleries and private collections across the country.
