Post Sixty Five / Good Dog Nigel / Breakers / Teeter

  • IX Art Park - Indoors 522 2nd Street Southeast Charlottesville, VA, 22902 United States (map)

Post Sixty Five - Long-running and beloved Cville post-rock outfit, ft. members of just about every band ever. Images of summer and sweltering heat permeate the band’s lyrics, written by frontman and lyricist Hicham Benhallam. Laced with lush guitars, hyper-melodic bass lines, and energetic percussion, the band creates a sonic landscape that sets the scene for longing, pain, and destructive desire.

Good Dog Nigel - Catchy, hard-hitting indie rock from Lynchburg, VA, fresh off the release of their newest full-length “The Implied Sunrise”. Great costumes, greater tunes.

Breakers are a rigorously-calculated, riff-driven, proto-punk alt-rock group out of Cville, VA that deliver an acerbic, infectious sound reminiscent of The Strokes and Queens of the Stone Age. It’s a realized compositional style spray-painted with simple, straight forward New York rock n’ roll.

And rounding out the bill is Teeter (of Films on Song/KNDRGRDN/etc.); you know him, you love him.
